Next and Next

We are always in a rush, rushing to do what is next and never truly appreciating the moment NOW. Every breathe we take is a blessing and appreciating this moment is important. Life is full of wonder and awe and when we really stop multitasking and take in each moment we would realize time is endless.

I recently began practicing slowing down and listening. Listening within and around. I have began less multitasking and being mindful of what I am doing in the present moment and I see a huge difference in my life when I decide to slow down.

Do you know what I have found when I have separated myself from doing too many things at the same time and being present in the moment. I realize time is slowing down. Just today I realize this, not only when I stop and pause. When I found myself in the present moment focused, observing my sorroundings and listening to the sound of my OWN voice and breathe time slows down. It is like magic is all around me. I do not experience this all the time but there are moments I really stop and appreciate what is in front of me. It may not be all glitter and glam but just the thought of being present, alive, having a mindful moment is one of kind.

I am not sure if you will understand the real beauty of this magical moment but when you practice mindfulness and appreciating each moment of your life. You will understand how blessed your life really is at the time.

We are always rushing watching the time and telling ourselves we have so little time left. But do we really know if we have little time left, because we are not God. So, when we really think of life this way we will breathe in each breath with love and really appreciate the NOW because that is all we are certain of today.
